Welcome to Austin Royals Basketball

Welcome to the Austin Royals Basketball Program. We are a Christian athletic program that focuses on providing Christ-centered discipleship, a positive and encouraging community, and a skills-based, competitive environment.

The Royals compete in Basketball with teams for 4th-12th graders. The Elementary and Middle School teams compete in the local ACAA conference and homeschool tournaments in Dallas, San Antonio, and Houston.

The High School teams compete against public, private, and other homeschool teams from around central Texas and regularly attend the District (Bryan, TX), State (Austin, TX), Regional (DFW Area, TX) & National (Springfield, MO) Homeschool Basketball Championships.

2024 - 2025 Basketball

Assistant Coach Christian servant leader who mentors and leads their student-athletes spiritually and athletically.

Assistant Program Director Christian servant leaders who serve the participant members and the sports programs of ARCA. APD's will be responsible to help the PD facilitate and execute the necessary duties of the program in a timely manner under the authority of the Board.

Regular Season Practice Start Dates!

Practice starts the first week of October at The PAC.

High School Boys Practices will be on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

High School Girls Practices will be on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

Middle School and Elementary Boys teams will practice on Monday and Thursday.

Middle School and Elementary Girls teams will practice on Tuesday and Thursday.

All practice times are from 7:00 am to 9:00 am.

Basketball Preseason Activities

Player Development & Strength Training for all eligible ages (4th-12th grades) every Monday in August at The PAC - see calendar for times.

Open Gym for all eligible ages (4th-12th grades) every Thursday in August at The PAC - see calendar for times.

Preseason Conditioning for all eligible ages (4th-12th grades) runs every Tuesday (at The PAC) from 7 am to 9 am and Thursday (at Williamson County Park Track) from 7:30 am to 8:30 am starting September 3rd. All sessions will ensure we have the rest of our day to get through. Our locations are as follows.

Tuesdays at The PAC, located at 8220 183A Toll Road, Leander, TX 78641
- We'll be doing skills training workout during this time.
Thursdays at the Southwest Williamson County Regional Park, located at 3005 Co Rd 175, Leander, TX 78641
- We'll do a track (conditioning) workout during this time.

Preseason conditioning helps set the tone and pace for our season. This will help us be in decent shape by our first tournament on October 26th.

Registration will open November 1st.
