Registration includes: 3 practices per week, 4-8 meets (High School and Middle School)

Athlete Age Requirements

Runners must be 7th grade (12 years old by Sept. 1, 2025) through 12th grade homeschooled students.

About Us
The Austin Royals Cross Country team is made up of 7th-12th grade
boys and girls who practice and compete in cross country meets from
August through October.


Our Mission
We are committed to the Royals mission of discipleship through athletics.


Our Team
We are open to all fitness and experience levels. Our focus is:

- discipling young people in their walk with Jesus Christ, 

- developing individual performance in a team setting, and

- supporting and encouraging each other to be the best we can be on and off the course.

Off-Season Training Tips

Athletes, off-season training is critical!

Here are some tips to come into the season with your best foot forward.

- Work toward being able to run at a moderate pace for at least 30 minutes without stopping.

- Run at least 3 times per week, with some workouts focusing on speed and others focusing on endurance.
